A question about our nets?
Here you will find the answer to almost all your questions about our camouflage nets.
If you have unanswered questions, our customer service is at your disposal!
Which net size is the most suitable for my use?
It is difficult to answer this question precisely without knowing the intended use for the camouflage netting. If you want to use our camouflage net as a decorative shade for your terrace, garden or pergola, it is best to take the dimensions of the space to be shaded and add 5% to it for a relaxed effect. While if you intend to use it to camouflage a shelter, tent or vehicle, you should choose a size large enough to cover the object in question with a bit of a margin. If you just want to hide behind a net to blend in with the landscape, you should choose a size that suits your size and that of your military gear. It is important to take into account the size of your equipment, because a net that is too small may not cover you completely and may not be effective in hiding you during your hunting trips. In any case, it is recommended to check the dimensions of the net before buying it to make sure that it will be suitable for your use.

What materials are used to make this camouflage net? Are they tough and durable, suitable for outdoor use?
Our camouflage nets are made from synthetic materials such as nylon or polyester, these are fabrics that are strong and durable. These materials are chosen because of their ability to resist weathering and tearing, making them suitable for outdoor use. At Le Filet de Camouflage, regardless of the color chosen (khaki, sand, desert, white, camo, beige) the materials remain the same.
Our nets are made in 2 parts.
- The first part consists of the colored fabric which is Oxford 210T, it is anti-UV and rot-proof treated. Its density is 100 gr/m²
- The second part is a mesh to reinforce the net against the wind, this mesh has sides of 70 mm .
Everything is fixed together .

What is the warranty offered with this camouflage netting? Is it valid for normal use or only in the event of a manufacturing defect?

What can I attach my camouflage netting to?
You can easily attach our nets, using rope, or serflex type plastic cables for example. Simply pass the cable through the mesh and bring it to the support in order to fix it. Take into account that camouflage nets are not stretchable. Depending on the dimensions of the camouflage net, we recommend that you make several attachment points, occasionally, in several places, to install it properly. The layout of the camouflage net can be variable depending on your project. You can lay the camouflage net flat, attach it to an arbor, and also hang it vertically. For maximum sun protection, it is recommended to place it according to the sun.
A camouflage net can be attached to a multitude of supports.
- Poles: Poles are one of the most common options for attaching a stretch canvas camouflage netting. Posts can be made of wood, metal or PVC and must be strong enough to support the weight of the net.
- Walls: If the camouflage netting is attached to a wall, it can be hung using specially designed hooks or wall brackets .
- Trees: If the netting is used to shade a treed area, it can be secured to trees using ropes or straps.
- Fences: If the area to be shaded is surrounded by a fence, the netting can be fixed to the fence using clips or cable ties.
How do I choose the color that suits me?
Here are some tips to help you choose the color of your camouflage netting according to the environment :
- Forest environment: If you want to shade an area surrounded by trees and foliage, a green colored camouflage netting will be most appropriate. This color will allow the netting to blend into the natural environment and provide discreet shade.
- Desert Environment: If you live in a desert area with little vegetation, a sand -colored camouflage netting will work best. This color will blend in with the colors of the desert and not be as noticeable as a bright colored net.
- Urban environment: If you want to shade a terrace or a garden in an urban environment, a camouflage net in white or black color will be more appropriate. These colors will harmonize with the colors of surrounding buildings and urban structures.
- Marine Environment: If you live near the sea and want to shade an area near water, ablue colored camouflage netting is recommended. This color will blend in with the ocean colors and not be as noticeable as other colors.
In general, it is recommended to choose colors that blend in with the surrounding natural or urban environment. This will help you achieve discreet shading and preserve the aesthetics of your environment.
What is the lifespan of our nets?
The lifespan of a camouflage net depends on several factors such as the quality of the material, the frequency of use, the climatic conditions, the maintenance and the method of installation.
In general , a well-maintained camouflage net can last between 8 and 10 years.
It is important to maintain your camouflage net regularly to prolong its life. Here are some maintenance tips:
- Cleaning: Clean your camo netting regularly to remove dirt, dust and debris that may accumulate on the netting. You can clean it by hand with warm water and mild soap. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or bleach which may damage the material.
- Storage: Store your camouflage netting in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid leaving it exposed to direct sunlight or weather which may cause damage.
- Repair: Quickly repair any damage to your camouflage netting, such as tears or holes, to prevent them from getting bigger.
- Installation: Make sure your camouflage netting is properly installed and taut to avoid excessive tension on the attachment points which could cause tears or damage.
By following these care tips , you can extend the life of your camouflage netting and enjoy it for years to come.
What is the shading rate of our camouflage nets?
Camouflage nets are used to provide partial shade , our nets are manufactured in such a way that they provide approximately 80% shade.
Because they provide partial shade, the air circulates under the shaded space, which avoids having a stifling temperature like under a parasol or a classic shade sail. This also gives it better resistance to strong winds.
